This is an amazing tool to use in the classroom! I love the leveling feature! Such a great way to easily differentiate!

This is the best! We use this weekly at school and it is great for me to be able to check on progress from afar.

I love the Newsela website. Its my most trusted teaching resource. The App is beautifully designed, and I want to give it 5 stars, but it is glitchy and the writing part isnt yet available. Once that happens I will go five stars.

The articles I assign by using the app dont show up when I look at the Assignments under the Binder via an actual computer. Those assignments dont appear for my students either.

This app helps me catch up with the latest news. It has a user-friendly format, and multiple reading levels to get the text just right for you. All in all, I love this app. I would strongly suggest installing this free news program.

I like it very much i use it to entertain myself instead of playing games and using social media you can inform yourself about what is happening in the real world.

I was already a fan of news ELA. Having it so mobile helps me plan my lessons effectively.

I love Newsela but the app is still glitchy sometimes. Often times when Im using the app while teaching, some of the articles Ive assigned to a class dont show up. Theres also lots of info. missing from the app that is on the site. Im glad for the app though because I can have it up on my iPad while Im walking around my classroom with my students. That is very helpful, and I love that the quiz answers are so easily accessible on the app too. Great start for the app!

March 7th I download this app for my high school classes and the app crashes on me. I rebooted my phone and opened up the app again where it froze for a full twenty minutes before I had to reboot it again. Again, I opened the app and immediately it crashes and directs me to my home screen. I try once more and I was actually able to attempt to login but it froze AGAIN! One last time, rebooted phone, opened app, crash! Im using this on an IPhone 5 that has not been altered whatsoever so whats the deal? Someone better fix this quick because starting today its become MANDATORY for my biology class.

This is an excellent teaching tool to teach current events and non-fiction. One of my favorite aspects is that it allows selection of the same article or topic at various reading levels to meet the needs of each student. One of the easiest tools for differentiation that I have found.

I like the app as it helps keep me on my toes.

I use NEWSELA for my current events class. Its fantastic for students of every reading and comprehension level

I only do newsela on my laptop because on mobile devices it glitches and lags so dont get it on a mobile device Intel they fix it.
